Engr Adebayo Adesida (Owo 4), the candidate of African Democratic Congress (ADC) in the 2027 House of Representatives election in Owo/Ose Federal Constituency, on Thursday and Friday, held strategic meetings with party executives, stakeholders, and members of the ADC in Owo, Idoani and Ifon.

Speaking to party members in Owo, Engr. Adesida disclosed that the party had been cleared to proceed with the sales of its nomination forms. He appealed for the support and cooperation of members, assuring them of his commitment to strengthening the party and advancing the development of Owo/Ose Federal Constituency.

He revealed that strategic plans had already been put in place to boost the party’s visibility, including the production of campaign-themed songs, the creation of official social media platforms, and sustained media engagement to promote the party’s activities.

The candidate also pledged transparency in the management of campaign activities, stressing that he would not operate a separate campaign committee, but would work through the party’s existing structure.

According to him, the supremacy of the party would be respected, while all campaign income and expenditure would be managed with transparency and accountability. Engr. Adesida further promised to strengthen the party’s structure across the constituency through financial support.

Addressing members, the ADC chairman in Owo Local Government, Hon. Modebola Fademine, urged members to remain united and committed to strengthening the party’s structure. He emphasized the need for teamwork, loyalty, and dedication as the party prepares for the forthcoming elections.

Highlight of the meeting was the formal presentation of the party’s candidate for the Owo/Ose House of Representatives seat, Engr. Adebayo Samuel Adesida, who attended the meeting alongside his supporters.

During the interactive session, the party’s Women Leader from Ward 10, Iyere, appealed for greater support for women and the youths to enhance grassroots participation.

Addressing questions from journalists on the sidelines of the meeting, Engr. Adesida said his ambition was driven by a desire to provide effective representation and improve the welfare of the people of Owo/Ose Federal Constituency.

He called on residents to assess his track record and vision for the constituency, assuring them that, if elected, he would work to address developmental challenges and deliver quality representation.

Similarly, Engr Adesida (Owo 4) on Friday continued his grassroots consultation and stakeholders’ meeting in Ose Local Government, with party leaders, executives, ward officials, and members at Idoani.

In his opening remarks, the Vice Chairman of the party in Ose Local Government, Hon. Tola Fadele, urged members to remain united and committed to strengthening the party. He charged ward leaders to intensify voter sensitisation and grassroots mobilisation, expressing confidence in the party’s chances at the polls.

Speaking, the ADC candidate for the Owo/Ose House of Representatives seat, Engr. Adebayo Samuel Adesida, stressed that his ambition was driven by a desire to provide purposeful representation and attract meaningful development to the constituency.

He identified poor road infrastructure as one of the major challenges facing Ose Local Government and pledged to facilitate the rehabilitation of federal roads and attract other developmental projects if elected.

Engr Adesida also highlighted his experience in public service, saying it had prepared him for effective legislative representation.

During the interactive session, the Ose Local Government Chairman of the ADC, Alhaji Aliu Sulaiman, described the meeting as a crucial step toward consolidating the party’s structure ahead of the elections. He urged members to remain united and intensify grassroots mobilisation across all wards.

Other speakers called for increased support for women and youth participation, sustained voter engagement, and closer collaboration between the candidate and party leaders. They also advised the candidate to work closely with ward structures and expand the distribution of campaign materials to enhance the party’s visibility.

Responding, Adesida assured members that campaign materials had already been produced and that additional supplies would be distributed as the campaign progresses.

Meanwhile, Engr Adesida (Owo 4) also on Friday took his grassroots consultation tour to Ifon in Ose Local Government Area of Ondo State.

Addressing members, ADC chairman in Ose Local Government, Alhaji Sulaiman said the meeting was convened to formally present the ADC’s House of Representatives candidate m, Engr Adesida (Owo 4), to members in Ifon and mobilise support across the local government. He urged members to remain united and intensify grassroots campaigns to ensure the party’s success at the polls.

Speaking in Ifon, Engr. Adesida, thanked members for their support and reaffirmed his commitment to providing effective representation.

Adesida described the poor state of roads in parts of Ose Local Government as a major concern and pledged to facilitate road rehabilitation and other developmental projects if elected. He assured members that both Owo and Ose would receive equal attention under his representation.

During the interactive session, stakeholders called on Engr Adesida to maintain fairness, transparency, and close collaboration with party leaders. They also called for increased voter mobilisation and wider distribution of campaign materials to boost the party’s visibility across communities.

The ADC women leader in Ose Local Government, Mrs. Babatunde Adejoke, said women are the backbone of successful political campaigns, citing their role in grassroots mobilisation, market outreach, and community engagement. She expressed confidence in Adesida’s candidacy, pledged the support of women across the local government, and appealed for continued support for women’s activities throughout the campaign.
