..begins Eja Irorun initiative



Ondo State Agri-Business Empowerment Centre (OSAEC) has under the chairmanship of Hon. Rotimi Wemimo has introduced a new poultry product line, “Ease Chicken” under its Adiye-Irorun initiative, targeted at providing nutritious, toxin-free chicken to households across the state.


The product line offers a range of cuts, including laps, chests, wings, gizzard, and assorted mix, which OSAEC describes as specially grown, preservative- and toxin-free, and suitable for family consumption.

According to a nutritional chart released by the centre, a chest cut contains 165kcal and 31g of protein, wings provide 203kcal and 30g of protein, thigh offers 174kcal and 28g of protein, while a whole chicken serving contains 209kcal and 26g of protein.



The initiative forms part of the Ondo State Government’s broader agribusiness empowerment drive under the administration of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, aimed at promoting food security and sustainable livelihoods in the state.

To further empower youths through sustainable agricultural projects, OSAEC also announced the commencement of another initiative in fish production, tagged “Eja Irorun”.
