Family members, friends, political associates, and well-wishers converged on Owo, Ondo State, to commemorate the 70th posthumous birthday of the late former Governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu, with a special thanksgiving service.The memorial service, held at his residence in the Government Reserved Area (GRA), Owo, drew dignitaries and admirers from across the country, who paid glowing tributes to the late statesman.

Speakers at the event described Akeredolu as a courageous leader, a principled politician, and a devoted public servant whose legacy of service, integrity, and commitment to the development of Ondo State continues to inspire many.

They offered prayers in his honour and celebrated the enduring impact he made during his lifetime.

His wife, Betty Anyanwwu Akeredolu was present at the service.
