The Forum of Education Officers (FOREDO), Ondo State, has congratulated Mr. Segun Odusanya on his appointment as the 17th Head of Service of the state, describing the development as a strategic step towards strengthening the civil service.
In a congratulatory message jointly signed by the State Chairman of the forum, Mr. Oyebanji Bada, and the State Secretary, Mr. Akinbowale Olanusi, FOREDO said the appointment reflects the commitment of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa to excellence, professionalism and good governance in the state’s public service.
The forum commended the governor for what it described as a visionary appointment, noting that Odusanya’s emergence has inspired confidence among civil servants and stakeholders in the education sector.
According to the statement, Odusanya’s wealth of experience, integrity, dedication to public service and proven leadership qualities make him well suited for the position.
FOREDO expressed optimism that he would provide the direction and reforms needed to enhance efficiency, accountability and service delivery within the Ondo State Civil Service.
“Your track record of diligence and competence positions you as the ideal leader to steer the service towards enhanced efficiency, accountability and service delivery,” the forum stated.
FOREDO also reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the administration and collaborating with the Office of the Head of Service to advance the education sector and contribute to the successful implementation of the governor’s development agenda, known as OUR EASE.
The forum further pledged to continue promoting excellence in service, maintaining high ethical standards and ensuring quality education delivery across the state. It wished the new Head of Service divine wisdom, strength and success in the discharge of his responsibilities.
