Speaking while hosting the executive members of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) in his office, Ajanaku acknowledged the unique difficulties women face in journalism, noting that the profession is demanding even for men.

“I attach a lot of value to women,” he said, emphasising the significance of their visit, which coincided with the International Women’s Day celebration in Ondo State.

He praised their commitment to information dissemination and their role in advancing development across the state.

The Commissioner, who disclosed his long-standing background in journalism spanning nearly four decades, described himself as “part and parcel of journalists,” expressing deep appreciation for the efforts of NAWOJ members.
