Three suspects in connection with the gruesome murder of a 45-year-old man, Mr Bayo Orogun have been arrested by the men of Ondo State police command.
Orogun was assassinated last year December, in his residence at No 1 Adebayo Orogun close off express road Ifon in Ose local Government area of Ondo State.
The Hope Metro gathered that the assassins scaled the fence in his compound, through the kitchen window into the house as the deceased and his family were asleep.
It was said that when they got into the house, they went straight to the bedroom where he was sleeping with his wife and shot him with three gun shots which made him died immediately.
The Hope Metro learnt that the assassins went away with only two phones from the house which is for the man and his wife.
According to report, he recognised the killers before he was killed.
The deceased who is survived by wife, three children and aged parents was described as a hard working man and also a member of Ifon Developmental Union.
A competent police source who confirmed the arrest of the suspect told The Hope Metro that they were nabbed after an intensive investigation.
He said the suspects who were formally being detained at the Ifon police station have been transferred to the State Criminal and Investigation Intelligence Department. (SCIID).
When contacted, the Police Public Relation Officer CSP Femi Joseph confirmed the arrest and said the suspects would soon be paraded.
