The Ondo chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) will on Saturday inaugurate its campaign council and various committees for the 2027 general election.
The Governor and leader of the party in the state, His Excellency, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa will swear in the council and committee members made up of political gladiators and leaders of the party.
Notice is hereby given that the formal inauguration of the Campaign Council and its subcommittees will take place as follows:
Date: Saturday, 17th October, 2026
Venue: International Culture and Event Centre (The Dome), Igbatoro Road, Akure, Ondo State
Time: 11:00am prompt
The inauguration is part of the chapter’s preparation ahead of the 2027 general elections, to deliver over a million votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and ensure victory for all the candidates of the party.
The council, under the chairmanship of the Governor, has his Deputy, His Excellency , Dr. Olayide Adelami, Speaker, Rt. Hon. Olamide Oladiji, State Chairman, Hon. Kolawole Babatunde, Ministers of Finance, Dr. Taiwo, Oyedele, Interior, Hon. Bunmi Tunji Ojo, and Youths, Hon. Ayo Olawande, National Vice Chairman (South West), Dr. Oladiran Iyantan, Special Advisers to the President, members of National Assembly, among others.
The highly-powered council is expected to provide directions and coordinations for the various committees, that are saddled with campaign activities.
Council and committee members as well as party faithful are enjoined to grace the occasion.
