..THANKS TINUBU, AIYEDATIWA, APC LEADERS AFTER PRIMARY VICTORY
Following her victory at the APC primary election for the Akure North and South Federal Constituency, Hon. Princess Omowunmi Olatunji-Ohwovoriole has expressed heartfelt appreciation to party leaders, supporters, and stakeholders who stood firmly behind her throughout the exercise.
In her appreciation message, Hon. Omowunmi described the victory as a collective success for the people of Akure North and South Federal Constituency, especially women, youths, and loyal party members who believed in her vision of quality representation and inclusive leadership.
She specially thanked the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for his exemplary leadership and continued commitment to strengthening democracy and progressive governance across the country.
The APC flag bearer also expressed profound gratitude to the Executive Governor of Ondo State, Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, describing him as a visionary leader whose dedication to the growth of Ondo State and the unity of the APC continues to inspire many across the state.
Hon. Omowunmi noted that Governor Aiyedatiwa’s leadership style, political wisdom, fairness, and unwavering commitment to party progress played a significant role in ensuring a peaceful, transparent, and successful primary election process. She praised the Governor for creating an atmosphere of inclusiveness and encouragement for women and youths in politics.
The Akure Princess further appreciated the Governor for his fatherly role, wise counsel, and steadfast support before, during, and after the primary election, assuring him of her loyalty and commitment to the ideals and vision of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
She also specially appreciated the APC National Screening Committee for conducting a credible, transparent, and fair screening process, commending the committee members for their professionalism, dedication, and commitment to upholding the integrity of the party’s internal democratic process.
Hon. Omowunmi equally appreciated the Ondo State APC Chairman, Hon. Kolawole Babatunde, for serving as a strong pillar of support and a dependable point of contact between her campaign and party leaders across Ondo State.
According to her, his dedication, coordination, and commitment to party unity contributed immensely to the success of the primary election process.
She further appreciated APC leaders, party executives, ward coordinators, women leaders, youths, delegates, and supporters who contributed immensely to her emergence as the party’s candidate.
Hon. Omowunmi extended sincere appreciation to other aspirants who stepped down and supported her ambition, describing their actions as a demonstration of party loyalty, unity, maturity, and commitment to the progress of the APC.
According to her, their sacrifice and support will never be forgotten, as they have shown genuine dedication to the collective interest of the party and the development of Akure North and South Federal Constituency.
The flag bearer appealed to all contestants and party stakeholders to unite and work together for the victory of the APC in the forthcoming general election. She stressed that the primary election is over, and now is the time for reconciliation, unity, and collective efforts to ensure the success of the party.
According to her, “This victory is not for me alone, but for every progressive-minded person who believes in service, development, and genuine representation. I remain committed to the welfare of our people, and I will continue to work tirelessly to justify the confidence reposed in me.”
She called on all party members and supporters to remain united and focused ahead of the general election, stressing that unity, love, and cooperation remain the keys to victory for the APC in Akure North and South Federal Constituency.
Hon. Omowunmi reaffirmed her commitment to delivering impactful representation, empowering women and youths, and attracting meaningful development projects that will benefit the constituency.
