‎The Leaders of All Progressives Congress in Ose Local Government Area of Ondo State have resolved to work in unity and ensure a peaceful conduct of the party’s forthcoming primaries, following a high-level stakeholders’ meeting hosted by the Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Hon. Idowu Ajanaku.

‎The strategic meeting, attended by prominent political figures, ward leaders and party stakeholders across Ose LGA, focused on strengthening internal cohesion and consolidating support for candidates considered capable of advancing the party’s dominance in the area ahead of future elections.

‎At the end of the meeting, the leadership unanimously endorsed Hon. Gbenga Elegbeleye for the Ondo North Senatorial seat, Hon. Arowele for the Owo/Ose Federal Constituency House of Representatives position, and Hon. Oshati Ọlatunji for the Ose Constituency seat in the Ondo State House of Assembly.

‎The leaders further agreed that all aspirants, supporters and party faithful must conduct themselves peacefully before, during and after the primaries, stressing that the unity of the party remains paramount.

‎They also resolved to jointly monitor the electoral process and ensure total compliance with party guidelines across all wards in Ose Local Government.

‎As part of efforts to guarantee transparency and orderliness, the meeting approved a special monitoring team that will oversee the primaries across the local government without fear or favour. The stakeholders maintained that discipline, fairness and loyalty to the party would be critical to sustaining the APC’s political strength in Ose.

‎The meeting also resolved to make strong representations to the Governor of Ondo State on issues relating to political appointments, infrastructure development, social welfare and other democratic dividends for the people of Ose LGA, reaffirming their commitment to the continued growth and development of the council area under the APC-led administration.

In attendance were: Member, Ondo State House of Assembly representing Ose constituency, Hon. Oshati Ọlatunji, Executive Chairman of Ose LGA, Hon. C.K. Ojo, LG Chairman of the APC, Hon. Adunbi, Chairman Irekari LCDA, Hon. Adekunle Dennis, Secretary, Irekari LCDA, Taiwo Ajimuda, Mr. Sunday Agbotoba, Hon. Arole Dennis, Hon. Mrs. Anifowose, Hon. Adeniran Kehinde K.K, Hon. Olakunle Eko, Mr. Peter Adefunmilayo, Councillors, Women Leaders and Youth representatives among others.
