Ondo State Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Alhaji Amidu Takuro has called on members of the Association of Town Planning Consultants of Nigeria (ATOPCON) and other stakeholders in the field of Town Planning to collaborate with the state government to achieve futuristic value for modern physical planning and urban development of major cities and towns in the state.

Alhaji Takuro further stated that the state government has signed Memorandum of Understanding with a private organization ‘UNHABITAT’ on preparation of Master Plan for three selected cities in the state as well as building of a Youth Center as Urban Renewal Program in state capital.

In his welcome address, the ATOPCON President Mr Muyiwa Adelu commended Governor Akeredolu for giant strides in the area of physical transformation and infrastructural development of major cities and towns in the state
