The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ, Ondo State chapter has congratulated the state governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN, his Deputy, Hon. Lucky Ayedatiwa for the victory recorded at the just concluded gubernatorial election.
In its congratulatory message signed by the association’s chairman and secretary, Doris Olumoko and Patience Ibeh, NAWOJ described the victory as a testimony of the modest and proud achievements of Akeredolu-led administration in the last three and half years.
The female journalists also congratulated and commended the wife of the Governor, Arabinrin Betty-Anyanwu Akeredolu for her support and contributions to the development of the state through various life-impacting initiatives, especially women and children.
“We congratulate you Sir, on your well deserved victory in the just concluded Governorship election, which has given you another four year mandate to Govern the good people of Ondo State, the Sunshine State.
“The mandate given by the people will further give an opportunity to deepen and consolidate on the gains of your first term. We have no doubt on your electoral service delivery capacity and provision of dividends of democracy.
“Lastly, Sir, permit us to use this opportunity to congratulate Her Excellency for her unflinching support to you and the entire people of Ondo State, particularly, the Women and Children”. The statement reads.
