Olusegun Aina becomes Chairman, Oodua Investment Board

An Osun man, Dr. Lawrence Olusegun Aina has been appointed as the new Chairman of the Oodua Investment Board.

He was appointed yesterday during a virtual meeting of the forum of Southwest Governors, presided over by Ondo state governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu’s, SAN, who is the chairman of the forum.

Other members of the new Board comprises, Mr. Segun Olujobi(Ekiti), Dr. Tola Kasali(Lagos), Chief Segun Ojo(Ondo), Seeni Adio Esq SAN(Oyo), and Otunba Bimbo Ashiru (Ogun).

This was contained in a statement issued by Mr. Donald Ojogo, Commissioner for Information and Orientation in Ondo State on behalf of the Chairman of Southwest governors’ forum.

“The Governors who expressed confidence in the individual capabilities of the Board members said, the choices were made after a careful consideration of their wealth of experience, integrity and deep knowledge of the business environment.

“The Governors charged them to reposition and restructure the Organization in order to foster a robust, transparent, accountable and forward-looking tradition that will engender enviable productivity deserving of a regional heritage”, the statement reads.
