Information reaching JATS Online Newspaper from Idogun in Ose Local Government Area of Ondo State indicates that a number of unknown gunmen invaded Igbosi Community along Imeri Road, destroyed two buildings, and abducted the 9-year-old son of a pastor, Oluwatobi.
According to residents of the community who spoke with JATS via a telephone conversation at about 4:00 a.m. on Friday, June 5, 2026, the incident occurred around 1:00 a.m. and forced residents in the area to flee for safety.
Community vigilantes and personnel of the Amotekun Corps have since entered the bush in pursuit of the assailants.
