Mgt Courses: ODSG sets up Inter-Ministerial Committee for PSTI on partnership with Higher Institutions

To further strengthen the partnership between the Ondo State Public Service Training Institute, PSTI, and the Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba Akoko, AAUA, the Ondo State government has set up an Inter-Ministerial Committee to work out operational details for the Memorandum of Understanding signed by the duo in respect of running management courses for public servants.

The Committee which was set up by the State Head of Service, Pastor Kayode Ogundele has the Director General of PSTI as Chairman, The PSTI Registrar, Representative of the Ministry of Education, All Directors, Representatives of the Teaching Service Commission, of ASUSS, AAUA, and from the Private Sector on capacity building.

According to the Head of Service, setting up the Inter-Ministerial Committee for the institute became imperative considering an upsurge in its activities projected for this year.

He added that the step would ensure effective monitoring of the quality of academic and training programmes of the institute.

The Committee which had its first inaugural sitting on February 14th, 2023, has also taken steps to establish a standard library to perfect its MOU with the Federal University, Oye-Ekiti, Ekiti State.

The Inter-Ministerial Committee, was set up to act in place of the Statutory Board of Trustees.
