Supporters of the former Lagos State Governor and APC National leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in their hundreds stormed Adegbemile Press Centre, Ondo State for the inauguration of the Iyalaje/Iyaloja Network, Ondo State Chapter.
Associates of Senator Tinubu turned out in masses with the group declaring their unalloyed support for aiding Senator Tinubu in taking the next title of becoming Nigeria’s next President.
The event hosted top political stakeholders in Ondo State with the likes of Commissioner for Women Affairs, Dr. Mrs. Osadahun Juliana, Hon. Simisola Ayoade, the Seriki Hausa Community, the head of Ebira Community, CSO of Ondo State, Alhaji Dojumo, Former commissioner for Women Affair, Mrs. Yinka Idowu, and other dignitaries graced the occasion.
The supporters from the Ondo State axis have people from Akoko North West, Akoko North East, Akoko South East, Akoko South West, Owo and Ose, and other local government respectively, with other supporters who came outside Ondo State.
The Convener of the event who also doubled as the National Coordinator, Chief Mrs. Folashade Tinubu-Ojo, Iyaloja General, Network for Bola Ahmed Tinubu (BAT) 2023 during her speech disclosed that the time for another election is near in Nigeria and that the mandate of the newly launched group and the exco is to come together, working strategically, campaigning and voting in Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the next president of Nigeria.
She said, “We thank God for today because he’s the only one who made today possible. We are happy to inaugurate you all today for the victory of our incoming President. By the grace of God, you will have the energy to carry on your task. In the end, you won’t regret your contributions to our utmost interest.
“Anyone who is contributing to Tinubu’s election has the interest of Nigeria at heart because Nigeria is at the spill stage and we need a leader like Bola Ahmed Tinubu to help us change the narrative.”
Tinubu further disclosed that the party and Bola Ahmed Tinubu has not given anyone money to work for the election yet, and despite that, the turnout is incredible with supporters from the Sunshine State and other State in Nigeria working assiduously for Ahmed Tinubu.
“We have seen what Bola Ahmed has done in Lagos State, Lagos was at the dark stage then until he assume the position, he restructured Lagos State. We all know what he can do, we have seen his capacity, and experience, we believe in him and we want him to come and remodel Nigeria to the better nation we all crave for.” She added.
The Ondo state Coordinator, Iyaloja General Network for BAT 2023, Chief Mrs. Bolade Eko- Davies during her speech emphasized that Citizen’s PVC is their power, asserting that the people need to get their voter’s cards ready, take the election seriously, turnout in masses and vote Tinubu.
“We have people who have been advocating to vote for Tinubu on social media but beyond that, we need to troop out in masses and vote Asiwaju to achieve our desired result. We have seen what Asiwaju has done before, so he’s the man that knows the way and we should all follow a such leader.” She noted.
“This coming election is near already, this is our election and we are going to vote well and BAT will emerge as our next President. I want also to use this medium to thank all my excos who will work by my side because this is not a work I can do alone. We need each other to achieve success. So, we all need to turn out, work along with each other and support this political race.” She added.
