The Iyalaje/Iyaloja Nigeria, Chief Mrs Folashade Ojo, has congratulated and commended the Wife of Ondo State Governor, Chief Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu, for the successful take-off of the 2022 edition of Bemore Summer Bootcamp for girls in the state.
The Representative of the Iyalaje/Iyaloja in Ondo State, Mrs. Bola Eko Davies, stated this on Monday during the opening ceremony of the 2022 bootcamp at Mabest Academy, Oke-Ijebu Akure, where over 380 girls are camped for training in ICT, Solar Technology and entrepreneurial skills.
Commending the Founder of the program for the successful past four editions, she congratulated mothers in Ondo State for having a woman who prioritises empowerment and enlightenment of girls, as their First Lady.
She noted that through the BeMore Empowered Foundation, the First Lady is moulding the lives of girls to meet international standard.
She described the initiative as a unique one in the sense that it’s taking the girls to a higher level to compete favourably with their contemporaries across the globe.
The Iyalaje/Iyaloja added that the initiative was building confidence and empowerment strategy in the girls.
She used the medium to thank Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, for prioritizing the safety of people in the state with the adequate security measures.
