About thirteen days after the terror attack by gunmen on worshippers at Saint Francis Catholic Church, Owo, Ondo State, funeral mass for the deceased victims was held today amidst tears.

No fewer than 40 casualties, including children were brutally murdered on June 5 when unknown assailants attacked the worshippers during pentecostal service at St. Francis Catholic Church, Owaluwa, Owo in Ondo State.

The funeral mass began at 10:00 am after the caskets bearing the bodies of the deceased were brought into the hall of Mydas Resort, Owo.

Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, along with his wife, Betty, led a large number of sympathisers across Nigeria who came to pay their last respect for the deceased.
