Ondo State Deputy Governor and Acting Governor, Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa led a delegation from the State to the burial and final rites of former Vice Chancellor, Federal University of Technology, ( FUTA ), Akure, Professor Gregory Adebiyi Daramola held at St Peters’ Catholic Church, Okemesi-Ekiti, Ekiti State on Friday.

Aiyedatiwa said the State and Nigeria University community would miss the Late Professor, who had a most distinguished academic career at FUTA since mid-1980s rising to the pinnacle of his career as a Professor in 1999.

He was much sought after as a consultant both locally and International.

Aiyedatiwa enjoined the family left behind to take solace in the supremacy of the Almighty God over the affairs of men.

Other dignitaries in attendance are, Vice Chancellor of FUTA, Professor Joseph Fuwape, former Vice Chancellor of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, Ondo State, Professor Igbekele Ajibefun, Rector, Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji, Ondo State, Professor Emmanuel Adebayo Fasakin, Bishop of Ekiti Diocese and officiating Minister, Bishop Felix Ajakaye, kenneth Odusola-Stevenson, Press Secretary, office of the Deputy Governor and Acting Governor, Wife of the deceased, Mrs Cecilia Daramola and others.
