A Non-Governmental Organization in Ondo State, Kids and Teens has called on the government to wade-in to the alleged continuous defilement of a 12 year old girl (names withheld) by her father, Mr. Ezechukwu Ifeanyi.
Information made available to JATS Online News which was a copy of the letter written to the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, says that the girl had experience three cases of incest by her father.
Mr. Ezechukwu who lives in an apartment in Kajola street High school Akure, was said to threatened her wife for raising the alarm and had since then being moving about the town freely and remorseless.
Part of the letter reads: “There has been 3 of such incidences, the last of happened when her father, Mr. Ezechukwu picked her from her boarding school at Mary Queen of Angels Secondary School after he was called to take her to hospital on account of her ill health.
“On picking her from school, her father allegedly drove her to a lonely deserted road and raped her, having gagged her with a cloth to prevent her from drawing attention of passers by to rescue her.
“The case was made known to the above NGO with a plea for justice to be served as the mother and daughter currently live in utter fear as the man has repeatedly threatened to deal with his wife for raising alarm.
“The Doctors report confirming the defilement of the minor is attached.
This is a passionate plea for your immediate action”.
