Report reaching JATS Online News indicates that the Ondo state Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Pensioners (NUP), Chief Raphael Adetuwo has passed on.

Adetuwo died last night during a protracted illness at the Ondo state University of Medical Sciences, UNIMED Teaching Hospital, Ondo.

Information at our disposal says that the NUP Chairman had been in and out of the hospital for the past four months.

Confirming, the State Secretary of NUP, Comrade Akin Sunday described the demise of the Octogenarian as shocking and sad.

The burial arrangements will be announced later. He was 80 years old.
