A 100 level Accounting student of the Achiever University, Owo, Miss Bada Wuraola who was crushed to death by a speedy tipper driver while on a bike around the institution has been buried amidst tears.
The late Wuraola, an indigene of Ikare Akoko who was buried yesterday in Owo cemetery was said to have being crushed to death on Friday while coming from market in a company of her friend, identified as Ayomidotun.
According to information from some students of the university who spoke under anonymity, Ayomidotun, a microbiology student however survived the accident but was in a coma in an undisclosed hospital.
The Okada rider was reported to have also died immediately.
“They wanted to go to the market to buy plantain, so she told someone to follow her and they took a bike, on their way back, a drunk tipper driver hit them from behind and went over them. This happened Friday evening. Both she and the okada driver are dead now. The second girl is in a coma”, said one of the students.
Students of the institution bid her farewell with a matching parade featuring undertakers in white outfits carrying a white coffin containing her remains.
