It was a special valedictory service for the CABATAF Nursery and Primary school, Ijapo Akure, on Tuesday, as the 2023 edition makes it the 40th founding year of the school.

In a glamorous event to celebrate Primary five pupils who just graduated, held at St David’s Cathedral Hall, Ijomu Akure, on Tuesday, parents  whose children are products of the school testified to its excellent academic performance since the school was established.

A parent who confessed to have been part of the school for about 18years, Mr. Daudu Olaolu, said: ” So far, the school has been excellent.

“I have been able to train three of my children in this school, the first born, who has gained admission into Obafemi Awolowo university really impressed me which encouraged me to bring others”.

Earlier in his welcome address; the Director cum Proprietor of CABATAF Schools, Pastor Yinka Ogunode , thanked God for how far the school had fare for the past 40 years of its establishment by his father.

He declared the 2023 valedictory service as a special one, noting that he took over the leadership mantle of the school 30 years ago.

He thanked his wife for her support in managing the school to stardom.

Ogunode, however, expressed gladness over the achievements and impacts the school had recorded, saying his decision to expend his energy and knowledge on the school in the face of mockery was never a mistake.

As in usual,  the event featured presentation of certificates of excellent performance to pupils who clinched first to third positions in KG2-Pry5.

Also, prizes were given to best performing pupils in numeracy (mathematics) and Literacy (English) from pry two to five.

The colourful event was fun-filled as it served as a moment of relaxation for guests and parents who were entertained with choreography, traditional dance in Yoruba, Hausa, and Ghana, by the pupils.

It was rounded up with prayers for the graduates and presentation of testimonials.

The graduating pupils, while presenting their farewell song, appreciated the school management, teachers,and parents for contributing to their success story by impacting them with global standard educational knowledge and discipline.
