..distributes educational materials to pupils in Idogun town
..as Onidogun hails Akeredolu’s love for community, appointment of indigenes as Aides
The Chief Executive Officer of JATS Communications, and Publisher of JATS Online News, at the weekend distributed educational materials and food items to pupils of Primary Schools and some widows in Idogun town of Ose local government area of Ondo state.
This was just as the Onidogun of Idogun land, Oba Moses Ekundayo Bakare applauded the Ondo state Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, CON, for his love towards the community.
Speaking during the distribution, the CEO of JATS, Mary Olumuyiwa Agidi said the gesture was to celebrate the fifth year of the communication’s outfit.

Agidi, who is the Special Assistant to Ondo State Governor on Media, seconded to the office of the First Lady, said it was also to appreciate God for the grace of another year and to impact lives of the people in her community and bring governance to their doorsteps.
The Governor’s Aide stated that she chose to celebrate the fifth year in her Idogun home town with a view to extending her contribution to the development of the town and add value to the lives of the vulnerable groups.

Four primary schools which benefitted from the programme within the neighbourhood of Idogun included: St. James Primary School, St Paul’s Primary School, Ansar-Ur-Deen Primary School and the Apostolic Primary School, her Alma-Mater.
Some widows within Idogun community also benefited from Agidi’s noble gesture.
Writing materials like exercise books, pencils and biros were given to the pupils while some packages of rice were given to the widows.



The Onidogun of Idogun land, Oba Moses Ekundayo Bakare, while receiving the Governor’s Aide and her entourage in his palace, appreciated the Online publisher for the gesture.
He appreciated the Governor for the appointment of Idogun indigenes which he described as commendable.

” I am very proud of Agidi because she has not disappointed the community and I thank Mr Governor and his wife for taking adequate care of our daughter”.
According to him , Akeredolu has been able to show his love for the community by giving them a local government Chairman for the first time and some political positions.

” Idogun is a peaceful community and we shall vote massively for the APC Presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu during the forthcoming February 25 polls”.
Oba Bakare however expressed his disappointment on some other political office holders within the local government which he observed that their attitude may have negative effects on their election.
Beneficiaries who spoke on separate interviews appreciated the governor’s aide and prayed for her good health , long life for the sustenance of the gesture.

The Head Mistress of St. Paul primary school , Idogun, Mrs Grace Olubunmi Odole described the presentation as a motivation for students to resume more earlier as stated by the school curriculum and pleaded that government help to renovate the buildings affected during the rainy season.
She also requested for deployment of more teachers, saying that they have only three permanent teachers in the school and that they had to employ teachers through the Parent Teachers Association to join them.

A class teacher at the Answer -ur- deen primary school , Idogun, Mrs Oluwatumininu Adeleye charged community parents to ensure that pupils resume earlier as expected and not waiting for weeks after resumption.
Two widows, Mrs Veronica Osho and Mrs Racheal Aroge pleaded for financial Empowerement for widows so that they can start a trade to be self sufficient.
