Ondo State Government, has directed all political and public office holders eyeing elective positions in the forthcoming 2023 General elections, to resign on or before Thursday April 14th, 2022.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Princess Oladunni Odu.
According to the statement, the directive is in line with the amendment of the Electoral law as assented to by the President.
Ondo State government, further directed that any political office holder willing to serve as a delegate in the National Convention, should also resign from his or her current position.
