How two siblings were shot dead by gunmen in Oyo

Two children of the same mother have allegedly killed by suspected kidnappers in Igboora, Ibarapa area of Oyo state.

Their mother was also hit by a stray bullets during the incident that occurred near a filling station located along Idere road where the suspected kidnappers also abducted a business woman identifies as Mrs. Sherifat Adisa.

Mrs. Adisa is the CEO of Subawah Oil, a filling station located on Igboora-Idere road.

The stray bullets from the armed men had left two children dead in a bid to escape with the owner of the filling station.

The unfortunate incident occured around 7:20 pm on Saturday, January 2.

The users of the road were seen scampering for safety as sporadic shootings continue in the axis.

According to an eyewitness, the woman and her children were leaving Igboora for Idere when the commercial motorcycle rider who conveyed them dropped them by the roadside to buy fuel in the filling station where they were hit by the stray bullets.

The incident forced the residents and motorists plying the road to scamper for safety.
