Yahaya Bello asks political appointees to include election results of their polling units, wards in stewardship reports

Governor of Kogi State, Alh Yahaya Bello has told all the sacked political appointees to include in their stewardship report results of their polling unit and wards in the concluded Governorship elections.

This was contained in a memo sighted online which was signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr Folashade Ayoade.

Other details to be contained in the said report are the office held, ward and local government of the appointees, duration and remarks.

It was said that this move cannot be isolated from the Constitution of the governor’s second term cabinet and people with higher votes in their units will be rewarded.

Governor Bello on Monday asked all the political appointees except those from office of the governor to vacate their offices and handover government’s properties in their custody to the most senior officer in the ministry, department or agency.
