With the momentum building toward the All Progressive Congress primary election in Ondo state, Senator Jimoh Ibrahim, CFR, is swiftly gaining ground, positioning himself ahead of other aspirants.

In Owo local government, APC leaders are rallying behind Senator Jimoh Ibrahim, CFR, projecting him to secure the party ticket on Saturday.

Addressing party loyalists in the local government, the leading aspirant assured party leaders of securing the party ticket on Saturday and ensured that all party members with valid membership cards in the state will vote, having paid 100 million in dues for all APC members in the state.

He pledged to bring about significant progress in the state, emphasizing an evidence-based approach to governance that relies on real-world data and metrics.

“I will employ empirical methods, relying on real-world data and metrics, to address the unique needs of each community in the state. My approach will involve implementing swap deal contracts and establishing a Bank of Ondo to tackle corruption and bolster the state’s internal revenue,” Jimoh Ibrahim said.

He urged party members to liberate themselves from political manipulation, emphasizing the need to reject leaders who prioritize personal gain over the welfare of the people.

Ibrahim, who holds a Doctorate in Modern War from the British War College, highlighted kidnapping as a major impediment to growth and development in the northern senatorial district of the state, promising swift action to address the issue once in office.

Despite the efforts of security agencies and Amotekun, kidnapping remains a grave crime, posing persistent threats to residents of the senatorial district.

Ibrahim pledged to combat this menace within 30 days of taking office, utilizing cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence tools to support trained security agencies in the state.

“There will be a dedicated board for the collection of geospatial data, including satellite imagery services and unmanned aerial vehicles, powered by AI algorithms. This will aid state security agencies in identifying suspicious activities and gatherings across various terrain types in the state, collaborating with the air force for enhanced surveillance,” he added.

Senator Tayo Alasoadura, Chairman of Aseyori in Ondo State, called on the people of Owo kingdom to reject betrayal and treachery on Saturday, endorsing Senator Jimoh Ibrahim, CFR, as the frontrunner in the upcoming primary election.

The strategic consultation drew the participation of key figures, including former members of the House of Representatives, former local government chairmen, former members of the House of Assembly, and the former Speaker of the House of Assembly during Aketti’s tenure, Rt Hon Oleyelogun.

In an interview with Aseyori media, one of the party leaders in the local government, Israel O. Ayeni, expressed confidence that Senator Jimoh Ibrahim, CFR, would emerge victorious in the APC primary election on Saturday, citing his exceptional preparedness and substantial resources.
