Bemore Girls’ ICT, Solar Tech Capacity advance as Boot Camp hits Sixth Day

Six days after resumption to the 2022 Bemore Summer Boot Camp, the new set of Bemore girls have considerably improved on their knowledge of Information Communication Technology (ICT) and solar technology.

Training in solar technology, ICT and other life-enhancing apprenticeship, the boot camp, holding at Mabest Academy, Oke-Ijebu, Akure, Ondo State Capital, commenced on Monday with elaborate opening ceremony.

Coached by Ashdam Solar Company, the girls commenced computer training on Tuesday with introduction to computer appreciation, basic computer devices, among other rudimentary themes.

They have since progressed on the ICT training to the extent that they have covered Microsoft word and currently on Microsoft PowerPoint while practicing same for the purpose of presentations.

ICT and Solar Technology being the programme’s primary focus recieve especial concentration among other areas of training during the annual boot camp established by the wife of Ondo State Governor, Chief Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu.

The 6th day had opened with taekwondo, a training meant to arm the girls with skills for self defense against probable threat of abuse and physical exercise to maintaining fitness and overall wellness.

Solar technology class continued as the girls practised building of solar oven with used cartons while music session drew the curtains.
