A  man, Kamoru Smaila has been apprehended for alleged rape of  a ten year old girl in Akure, the Ondo state capital.

He was arrested by officials of the Nigeria Security and civil defence corps ,NSCDC around Danjuma area.

He was almost lynched by irate youths before he was whisked away by NSCDC officials.

Confirming this via a telephone interview with JATS ONLINE NEWS, the Public Relations Officer of NSCDC in Ondo state, ASC Olufemi Omole said the girl’s underwear was stained with blood and sperm.

According to him, the matter is under investigation, and the victim has been taken to the government hospital for medical check up.

He revealed that the culprit resides in Adelabu street in Danjuma as a neighbour of the girl’s family.
