The Ondo State Police Command has arrested a 28-year-old man, Femi Agbeye, for the alleged murder of his three siblings in a tragic incident that has left residents of Okitipupa in shock.

According to the police, the incident occurred on April 7, 2026, at New Site, Doctors Road, Okitipupa, while the children’s father was away from home.

The suspect was accused of attacking his siblings—Bose Agbeye (20), Dupe Agbeye (7), and Blessing Agbeye (5)—with a machete, leading to their deaths.

The father of the victims, Mr. Agbeye, reportedly raised the alarm at a nearby police station upon discovering the gruesome act.

Police operatives were immediately deployed to the scene, where they found the victims lifeless in what authorities described as a horrific situation.

The bodies were subsequently evacuated to the State Specialist Hospital morgue in Okitipupa for preservation and autopsy.

In a swift response, the police confirmed that the suspect was apprehended on the same day of the incident in a coordinated operation.

The Commissioner of Police in Ondo State condemned the killings, describing the act as heinous and unacceptable.

He assured the public that the command would ensure justice is served.

The police further disclosed that the suspect will be charged to court upon the conclusion of investigations.

Residents have been urged to remain calm and cooperate with law enforcement agencies by providing any useful information that could aid the investigation, as the command reaffirmed its commitment to protecting lives and property.
