The Ondo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has congratulated Christians on the occasion of Easter, urging party members to intensify grassroots mobilisation in support of President Bola Tinubu and Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa.

In a statement issued on Sunday by the State Chairman, Hon. Kolawole Babatunde, the party described the resurrection of Jesus Christ as a symbol of victory over the grave and a reminder of hope, sacrifice and redemption.

Babatunde extended warm greetings to Christians across the globe, particularly members of the APC in Ondo State, praying that the significance of the season would usher in divine peace, breakthroughs, enduring goodness and strengthened faith in God’s promises.

The party also called on its members to take advantage of the Easter period to sensitise residents on the achievements of the Tinubu administration, particularly the ongoing transformation of the Ore/Ondo Road and efforts to rebuild the nation’s economy.

It further highlighted Governor Aiyedatiwa’s commitment to urban renewal through infrastructural development, industrialisation of the state, and equitable distribution of democratic dividends across all local government areas.

Babatunde charged party faithful to be inspired by the message of resurrection to rededicate themselves to mobilising support ahead of future political engagements, expressing optimism about achieving “a million votes for Tinubu.”

He assured members that the party leadership under his watch would be guided by transparency, openness, fairness and the fear of God.

The APC chairman, therefore, wished Christians and all residents of Ondo State a joyful and peaceful Easter celebration.
