The Rector of Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji, Ondo State, Dr. Ademola Iyanda Ebeloku, has extended warm greetings to Muslim faithful within the institution, across Nigeria, and around the world on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Fitr celebration.
In a statement marking the end of Ramadan, Dr. Ebeloku called on adherents of Islam to remain steadfast in upholding the virtues of humility, love, compassion, resilience, perseverance, and faithfulness, which were emphasized during the holy month.
He urged members of the polytechnic community and the wider society to demonstrate kindness by reaching out to the needy, the hopeless, and the underprivileged, in line with the teachings and example of Prophet Mohammed (Peace be upon him).
The Rector also advised moderation in the celebration of the festive period, while offering prayers for long life, good health, and the opportunity to witness many more Sallah celebrations.
Dr. Ebeloku concluded by wishing all Muslim faithful a joyful Eid-el-Fitr and Allah’s abundant blessings.
