Gospel singer Kehinde Adegbodu has revealed details surrounding the sudden death of his twin brother and music partner, Taiwo Adegbodu, stating that the deceased had no prior illness before the incident.

Speaking to visitors at his residence in Ibadan about a week after the tragic event, Kehinde explained that the incident occurred shortly after their usual nightly routine.

According to him, the twins had concluded their regular night prayers around 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 28, and retired to their separate rooms.

However, about an hour later, Taiwo reportedly came to his room complaining of severe chest pain.
Kehinde said he immediately rushed his brother to a nearby hospital in an effort to save his life, but Taiwo passed away shortly after they arrived.

“We went to our separate rooms after our usual night prayers at about 9:00 p.m. that Saturday. Around 10:55 p.m., he knocked on my door and said he was having chest pains. I quickly drove him to the hospital, but he died a few minutes later,” Kehinde recounted.

He emphasized that his brother had not shown any signs of illness prior to the incident, describing the loss as sudden and devastating.
