The Chairman of Ikale West Local Government Development Area, Hon. Funke Kumuyi, has paid glowing tribute to the founding fathers and past leaders of Ondo State for their sacrifices and commitment that led to the creation and growth of the state.

Kumuyi made the remarks in her goodwill message to the people of Ondo State as part of activities marking the golden jubilee celebration of the state’s creation.

According to her, the vision, resilience and struggles of the early leaders laid a solid foundation for the steady progress and monumental development the state continues to experience today.

She also appreciated Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa for upholding the core values championed by the founding fathers, commending his administration for sustaining the pace of development through the OUR EASE Agenda.


Kumuyi expressed optimism about the future of Ondo State, envisioning the coming decades as a period marked by impactful innovation, inclusivity, and selfless service from leaders at all levels.
