The celebration will take place at the Ile Oluji Central Mosque, Ile Oluji, in Ile Oluji/Okeigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State.
As part of the programme, newly elected executive members of the FOMWAN Ile Oluji/Okeigbo Local Government Chapter will be formally inaugurated on the same day.

This will be followed by a lecture titled “Unity in Hijab”, to be delivered by Alhaja Ganiyat Odutola, a school proprietor and the State Monitoring and Evaluation Officer.
In furtherance of its advocacy for modesty and religious rights, the celebration will also feature the distribution of hijabs to selected schools across the 18 local government areas of Ondo State on Monday, February 2, 2026.
FOMWAN calls on all relevant stakeholders to support the campaign for the use and acceptability of the hijab in public schools and other public institutions.
The association also appeals to the League of Imams and Alfas to dedicate their sermons during the Jumat service on Friday, January 30, 2026, to the significance of the hijab and the observance of World Hijab Day..
We appreciate the media organisations for their continuous support, particularly the Ondo State chapter of the Muslim Media Practitioners of Nigeria (MMPN), and we solicit their continued commitment to the actualisation of our goals and expectations.
FOMWAN hereby invites Muslim women, youth groups, religious leaders and all Muslim stakeholders across the state to grace the occasion and lend their voices to the promotion of unity, modesty and peaceful coexistence.
