The Ondo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has lauded Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for what it described as his visionary leadership and “magical” transformation of the state as he marked his 61st birthday.

In a statement issued by the party’s Publicity Secretary, Mr Alex Kalejaye, Ondo APC congratulated the governor on attaining another year and commended the pace of development recorded under his administration.

The APC said an internal and unbiased assessment of the government’s activities over the last two years showed that the period had been “very eventful,” particularly in the area of physical and infrastructural development.

According to the party, the ongoing urbanisation of Akure, the state capital, which it described as long overdue, is a clear indication of the administration’s commitment to modernising the state. It urged Governor Aiyedatiwa and his team to sustain the tempo.

The ruling party also called on the governor to remain focused on his development blueprint for the state, as captured in the EASE Agenda, while maintaining commitment to key projects such as the Deep Sea Port.

It noted that the EASE Agenda is designed to promote inclusive development, expressing confidence that the ongoing transformation would extend to all parts of the state in line with the 2026 budget.

The APC further prayed for renewed strength, good health and divine guidance for Governor Aiyedatiwa as he continues to steer the affairs of Ondo State.

“May God grant His Excellency renewed vigour, divine assistance and sound health to do more for Ondo State and Nigeria,” the statement added.
