President Donald Trump has announced a special monetary award of $1,776 for all 1,450,000 military service members of the United States of America.

The special allowance, tagged the “Warrior Dividend,” will be paid to them before Christmas.

According to Trump, the gesture is in honour of the nation’s founding in 1776. He said, “We are sending every soldier $1,776, and the checks are already on the way. Nobody understood that one until about 30 minutes ago. We made a lot more money than anybody could have thought because of tariffs, and the bill helped us along. Nobody deserves it better than our military, and I say congratulations to everybody.”
