..commends Ajanaku’s role in Ondo Information Management


Ondo State Governor, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa, on Tuesday assured the people of Ose Local Government Area,
that the neglect experienced in recent years would soon be a thing of the past.

He stated this in Ifon, the LGA headquarters as part of his ongoing statewide tour, where he was received by a large crowd of party leaders, political appointees and residents.

Addressing delegates from the 12 wards of the local government, the Governor disclosed that several developmental interventions, particularly in road infrastructure and investment, are already in the pipeline.

Ayedatiwa announced that construction would soon commence on five kilometres of roads approved for all commissioners across the state, as well as the Phase Two construction of the Oba-Ikun-Afo–Idoani Road.

The Governor also revealed that he has approved the establishment of a 42-million-dollar Ondo Agricultural City in Iju-Agbonrin/Ori-Ohin, Ose Local Government Area, by KONIG Agriculture Ltd.

According to him, the project underscores the state’s investment-friendly environment and the commitment of his administration to ensuring that Ose Local Government is fully included in the state’s industrialisation drive.

During the visit,  Ayedatiwa commended the Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Mr. Idowu Ajanaku, describing him as a true son of the soil who has brought his wealth of experience to bear on the state’s information management.

The Governor further assured the people that the Ifon traditional stool is receiving the attention it deserves, adding that the government would strictly follow laid-down procedures to ensure fairness and justice among all ruling houses, with a view to doing the right thing in due course.
