Ondo State Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Hon. Idowu Ajanaku, has commended Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for his deep spiritual commitment, noting that the governor’s emphasis on regular praise and worship has strengthened the state’s moral and spiritual foundation.

Ajanaku highlighted the governor’s monthly praise nights as a clear demonstration of leadership grounded in faith.

He made these remarks on Monday during the Ministry’s December 2025 prayer meeting held in his office, where he reaffirmed his own belief in the power of prayer.

The Commissioner said he never jokes with God’s grace, which has shaped his journey in life and public service.

He further described Ondo State as a land where “God reigns,” acknowledging the influence of spiritual icons such as the late Prophet T.O. Obadare and Baba Akindayomi, founder of the Redeemed Christian Church of God.

Ajanaku assured staff that the Ministry of Information and Orientation would continue to sustain a culture of prayer, adding that the visible progress across the state under the OUR EASE development agenda is evidence of divine guidance working in harmony with committed governance.

He declared that his office would henceforth remain a monthly altar of worship dedicated to lifting God’s hands in praise.

Delivering the exhortation, Pastor Babatope Akanbi spoke on the theme “God Will Never Share His Glory With Anybody,” urging the workforce to honour God in every situation.

Drawing from Isaiah 48:11 and the story of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego’s miraculous deliverance, he reminded participants that acknowledging God’s supremacy dispels darkness and preserves His people.
