..salutes Nigerians, calls for optimism

As Nigeria marked its 65th Independence Anniversary on Tuesday, the Ondo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) expressed optimism that the nation is on the path to physical and economic rebirth, urging citizens to remain hopeful.

In a congratulatory message signed by the party’s Publicity Secretary, Alex Kalejaye, the State Chairman of the party, Engr. Ade Adetimehin, rejoiced with Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, his deputy, Dr. Olayide Adelami, party leaders, and members across the state.

He emphasized that the country’s economy is showing signs of recovery under the Renewed Hope agenda of the APC-led federal government.

Adetimehin noted that the Ease Agenda of the Ondo State Government is steadily transforming infrastructure, education, and food security in the Sunshine State.

“I want to congratulate Mr. Governor, Dr. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, his deputy, Dr. Olayide Adelami, party leaders, and all our supporters as they celebrate this year’s Independence Anniversary,” Adetimehin said.

The party particularly lauded the state government’s Light-up Akure initiative and other developmental strides aimed at upgrading the state capital and enhancing the wellbeing of residents.

The Ondo APC further called on its members and supporters to remain steadfast in backing the government’s efforts, stressing that such initiatives are geared towards building a better-structured and enviable state.
