The BEMORE Empowered Girls Foundation expresses sadness  on the passing of Otunba Bamidele Akingboye, the 2024 gubernatorial candidate in Ondo State under the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Chief Executive Officer of Benshore Maritime and Clog Oil, and President of WeAfrica Group.

Otunba Akingboye was a distinguished leader, visionary entrepreneur, and philanthropist whose contributions left lasting impacts across diverse sectors.

His support for women and youth empowerment particularly stood out.

As an organisation, BEMORE specially acknowledges and deeply appreciates his generous sponsorship of 36 participants from Ondo State to the #BEMOREOYO2024 Bootcamp held in Ibadan, Oyo State.

His selfless act of generosity significantly contributed to the success of the programme, which focused on empowering girls with life-transforming skills and opportunities.

Otunba Akingboye will be remembered not only for his business acumen and political strides but also for his commitment to humanity, particularly in creating opportunities for the younger generation.

We pray for comfort and strength for his family, associates, and the entire Ondo State community during this painful period of loss.
