Prophet Samuel gave the instruction at the special Sunday service held at the church auditorium on Sunday in Akure.

The cleric popularly known as Sotitobire had asked members of his church to bring okro to the service for a special prayer session.

Roving Reporters observes that though the prophet asked them to bring single Okro each for the service, members of the church stormed the auditorium with nylons of Okro for the programme.

When it was the time for prayer, Prophet Samuel asked them to only pick one out of the okros for the prayer.

While interpreting the spiritual meaning of the okro, the Cleric instructed them that after the service they should reduce the quantity of okro they consume henceforth.

He said, “If you must eat okro soup, tell them to give you some little because people are found of eating too much okro soup.

“If the soup has not covered the whole plate, they wouldn’t be satisfied. That is what they would be eating till death comes because they would not record any success in life.

“It is not a sin to eat too much okro soup but spiritually it is not a good thing.

“Some people have found out that eating cat fish is against their won success. So they stop eating catfish. Some don’t put on black or red wears. It is not sin but it draws them back.

“I have found out that there is backwardness among you and every spirit of backwardness shall leave you in Jesus name.”
