The sudden death of the former Secretary to the Government of Ondo State (SSG), Hon. Temitayo Oluwatuyi, a.k.a. Tuykana, has been described as a colossal loss to the Akure community, his family, the All Progressives Congress (APC), and the state as a whole.

In his condolence message, a chieftain of the APC in the state, Mr. Moyosola Niran-Oladunni, eulogized the late SSG, affirming that he was one of the few unassuming and selfless political leaders in the Akure community and Ondo State.

Reflecting on the deceased’s life and legacy as a politician with an impactful footprint, Niran-Oladunni expressed consolation in a life well spent and full of testimonies, saying he had conquered the battles of this world to find eternal rest.

He said: “Tuykana will be greatly missed. I am consoled by the fact that he has conquered the many battles of this wicked and sinful world. We shall all leave one day to give an account of our deeds on earth. May the Lord grant all those he left behind the fortitude to bear this loss.”

The late SSG reportedly died from complications arising from a ghastly auto accident that occurred on December 15, 2024.
