..as Company Partners Ivory Health Club to Hold Squash Tournament

The Group Managing Director of CUBEGROUP, Mr. Moyosola Niran-Oladunni, has described entertainment and sports as key to tackling the unemployment rate in Nigeria.

He stated this while congratulating the winners and runners-up of the 2024 Ivory Health/CUBEGROUP Squash Open Tournament, held at the Squash court of the Ivory Health Club in Lagos last weekend.

Moyosola Niran-Oladunni, whose company, CUBEGROUP, has been at the forefront of promoting sports in Nigeria—particularly through the sponsorship of an annual squash tournament in collaboration with the Ivory Health Club—emphasized the need to invest in various sports among Nigerians as a means of addressing unemployment.

He averred that sports are another avenue capable of contributing to the economic development of a nation.

His words: “No sporting game should be neglected. Squash is another interesting sport that is not given much attention but is internationally recognized in global sporting tournaments. There are world champions in this game who are earning significantly. Encouraging our youths to participate in different sports will undoubtedly enhance their productivity. CUBEGROUP is committed to this cause by supporting local football clubs and championing tournaments like squash in collaboration with Ivory Health Club.”

The squash tournament is organized annually at the end of the year in three categories: Male, Female, and Veterans, spanning five days of rigorous competition.

He congratulated the winners of this year’s edition, urging them to continue contributing to the development of squash in their own capacities.
