The youth and students campaign committee for the election of governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa and his deputy, H.E Olayide Adelami, mni has been inaugurated.

In his opening remark during the event held at the state party secretariat along Ilesha garage Akure, the chairman of the committee, Hon Saka Yusuf Ogunleye who doubles as the honourable commissioner for youth and sports development, stressed on the need for the party and its candidate in the November 16th election to win massively during the poll.

He also directed all members in the committee to reach out to their local government campaign Director General to form synergy and proper collaboration.

“I welcome all our members to this meeting, As we all know that mr governor who doubles as the leader of our great party is expecting much from us in terms of mobilization for the fourth coming election. In view of this I will implore all of you to liaise with your various local government campaign DG to form synergy and properly collaborate with those at the grassroots in the interest of the party.

The chairman of the committee, Hon Saka Yusuf Ogunleye also asked members to return back to their respective local governments, Wards and units where the votes are.

He concluded that whenever they are needed in Akure, communications shall be made to that effect, but as is it everyone should go back home to mobilize for the election.

Also, the co-chairman of the committee, Hon Muyiwa Ogunyemi (Eyiyato) SSA to the governor on community Integration urged all committee members to put their all in ensuring victory for APC.

Other speakers include the Zonal youth leader of APC (Southwest) Comrade Lawal Kolade Paff and the Ondo state APC youth leader, Mr Lekan Adeyemo.

They both spoke about the importance of retaining APC at the helms of affairs of governance in Ondo state.

Some members of the committee who spoke during the meeting assured the leadership of the committee that they will do everything within their reach to ensure victory for APC and governor Aiyedatiwa.

Also present at the meeting are, SSA to the governor on youth and student affairs who doubles as secretary of the committee, Hon Kelvin Solomon (KSO), Hon Gbayisemore Orioye, SSA youth empowerment, former Ondo state APC youthleader, Barr Olutayo Babalayo (Olutee), and Prince Dapo Adepoju a.k.a BoboFowoso.
