..says he’d met three Cs of good governance

A professional group, Aiyedatiwa Support Team (United Kingdom chapter) has thrown its weight behind the election of the Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa in the forthcoming  Governorship election in the state.

The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC has slated the governorship election in Ondo State for November 16 this year.

Speaking at the end of its inaugural meeting,  the Coordinator of the Team, Arc. Olabode Mekuleyi said ”  this is Aiyedatiwa Team right here in the UK. Members of this team cut across the 18 LGAs of our darling sunshine state. We have resolved today to throw our full weight behind the Executive Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa in the forthcoming Guber poll”


Mekuleyi while x-raying the 7months of Governor Ayedatiwa in the saddle said, the Governor has met the three “Cs” that defines good governance. He opined that “Ayedatiwa has shown capacity, competence, commitment and uncommon zeal  to lead and given the necessary support and time, he will drive Ondo State to El dorado”

Speaking further, Mekuleyi said, Aiyedatiwa Support Team’, (AST) is a nest of like-minded professional ambassadors  who believe in the rapid development of Ondo State.

He said Governor Aiyedatiwa’s penchant for welfarism, infrastructure development and investment drive is one of the pivotal hook that motivated the arrays of support he, the governor enjoys presently.

When asked about the impact of the recent visit of the candidate of the leading opposition to the UK on the people, Mekuleyi dismissed the visit saying “It’s all tourism jamboree that holds no ground as far as politics is concerned back home” .

Continuing he said” we at Aiyedatiwa Support Team are not just Diasporans, we have our link-chain in all the 18 LGAs of Ondo State and I can assure you, as we mobilize here in the UK, so we are doing in far away Ondo State”

When asked further if the group will vote in the polls, Mekuleyi said ” at least, 60% of us will not only be home to vote in the election, the Ayedatiwa Support Team (Nigeria) will Troop out en- masse  to entrench the continuation of good governance under Gov Lucky Ayedatiwa in our dear state.”
