Morenikeji Adeleke, a well-known gospel singer, also known as Egbin Orun, has been buried amidst tears.

The news of her death was released in an Instagram post on Sunday by her fellow singer Esther Igbekele. Igbekele shared her shock and sadness, saying, “Egbin Orun left suddenly without saying goodbye.”

She mentioned that they had recently spoken and had no idea of the tragic event that was to come.

Igbekele praised the singer for her beauty, kindness, and strong support for her ministry.

“I got home from my program to hear about this great loss. Prophetess Morenikeji Egbin Orun you left without saying goodbye..

“We spoke together last week not knowing you are about to embark on a journey to the great beyond. You are such a beautiful and kind-hearted woman and a very good supporter of my ministry.

During her burial ceremony, her church members, staff, and neighbours testified of her good deeds while alive.

Meanwhile, her estranged husband, who fathered her two daughters, announced his readiness to be fully involved in the upkeep of their children, sounding a note warning to relatives of the deceased not to take the children away from their mother’s house.

He noted that the children would move to school from their mother’s house when done with the mourning of their mother.
