Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, in his ongoing campaign for the gubernatorial primary election, recently visited Odigbo and Ilaje council areas.

He received a warm welcome from party loyalists in Igbokoda, where he pledged to prioritize restoring power supply to the region.

Aiyedatiwa assured that work was underway, supported by NDDC, and vowed to expedite the process, particularly with the completion of the Abodi/Atijare road.

He garnered praise and blessings from spiritual leaders at Mount Zion International Church and received royal blessings from the Amapetu of Mahin, Oba Williams Akinyomi. Additionally, he promised to harness the natural resources in the area for the state’s benefit during his visit to the palace of Orunja of Odigbo, Oba Rufus Akinrinmade.

At the mega primary school in Ore, Aiyedatiwa rallied support from hundreds of APC members, including the notable defection of former deputy speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Mr. Iroju Ogundeji, to the APC.

The governor was accompanied by Deputy Governor Olayide Adelami, Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly Mr. Olamide Oladiji, Commissioners for Information Mr. Wale Akinlosotu, and for Local Government Alhaji Amidu Takuro.
