Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa’s campaign blitzed through three LGAs, namely Ondo East/West and Ile-Oluji-Oke-Igbo, as part of his ongoing tour across all 18 local government areas ahead of the APC governorship primaries.
The enthusiastic reception from thousands of party supporters at each location was palpable.
In Ile-Oluji, the governor welcomed a significant number of defectors from other parties into the APC fold.

At the Osemawe’s palace in Ondo, Oba Victor Kiladejo praised the governor for approving funds for the UNIMED medical center.
In Oke-Igbo and Ile/Oluji, APC stalwart Mr. Matthew Mato and the Jegun of Ile Oluji, Oba Olufaderin Adetimehin, expressed gratitude to the governor and urged the completion of road construction projects in their towns. They also offered prayers for the governor’s success.
Governor Aiyedatiwa, addressing the gatherings, expressed appreciation for the overwhelming support from party members and monarchs.
He solicited further support ahead of the state party primary, promising more developmental projects in crucial areas such as health, security, and infrastructure.

Additionally, he extended condolences to the people of Oke-Igbo following the passing of Oba Lawrence Babajide, assuring a transparent selection process for a new monarch.
Distinguished guests accompanying the governor’s entourage included Senator Ajayi Borofice, Secretary to the State Government Mr. Tayo Oluwatuyi, former Education Commissioner Pastor Femi Agagu, Ambassador Sola Iji, and Mrs. Lọla Fagbemi, among others.
