..Reels Out Development Plans
Caretaker Chairman Ikale West LCDA, Hon. Olufunke Kumuyi has met all traditional rulers and other stakeholders in all the communities within the LCDA.
She unveiled her development plans for the Council which would fast-track development in all the communities in the LCDA.

Kumuyi, on Wednesday at Ikale West LCDA headquarters, Ilututun, explained that her visit to all the traditional rulers became necessary because Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu established the new LCDAs to take governance closer to the people at the grassroots level.
She emphasised that Royal fathers and people are important in the local council administration because it requires concerted efforts and collaboration of the traditional rulers to be able to push through the development programmes she has mapped out for the LCDA.

The chairman of the caretaker committee for the LCDA assured the people that she would leave no stone unturned to ensure the communities experience the real touch of government.
She noted that her administration would prioritise safety of lives and properties with a view to creating an enabling environment for people to go about their businesses without any molestation.
Hon. Kumuyi said: “My visit to our royal rulers is necessary and important because this is a government of the people which all stakeholders must be part of, in order to develop our newly created LCDA.

Our able governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu promised to create the LCDAs during his campaign, to bring government nearer to the people and to spread development. He has fulfilled his promise, it’s now left to us to work together and development our communities.
“I want to seek your support and cooperation for the successful implementation of my development plans for the benefit of us all.”

The traditional rulers visited by the chairperson are HRH Oba Ernest Idepefo, Majuwa of Ilutitun- Moribodo Kingdom, HRH Oba Festus Olumoyegun, Oniju of Iju-odo Kingdom, HRH Oba Mathew Akin Ijelu, Lurowa of Irowa land and HRH Oba Olugbemi Sewo, Oloto of Igbisin-Oloto land.
